The Connells Point Netball Club is preparing to celebrate an incredible milestone — its 60th Anniversary Dinner — marking six decades of dedication to local sport, community spirit, and the growth of netball in Southern Sydney.
Founded more than 60 years ago, Connells Point Netball Club has become one of the region’s most respected and successful community sporting clubs. The club has built a strong reputation for developing players of all ages and abilities while creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for families throughout the local area. According to the club, CPNC has a proud multicultural membership base and continues to introduce new generations of players to the sport each year.
To honour this historic achievement, the club will host a special anniversary dinner on Saturday, 25th July at Club Central Hurstville. The evening promises to be a memorable celebration of the players, coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who have contributed to the club’s remarkable journey over the past six decades.
Guests attending the event will enjoy a two-course meal plus dessert, with festivities beginning at 6:30 PM. Tickets are priced at $60 per person, and attendees are encouraged to secure their seats by scanning the QR code featured on the official event invitation.
Over the years, Connells Point Netball Club has achieved significant success both on and off the court. The club has produced local and state representatives while continuing to strengthen grassroots participation in the sport. The organisation also played a major role in securing funding for upgraded facilities, including new amenities, storage areas, and additional courts for the community.
